چکیده

Abstract The observed spectral shapes variation and tentative bimodal burst energy distribution (E-distribution) of fast radio (FRB) 20121102A with the FAST telescope are great puzzles. Adopting published multifrequency data Arecibo telescopes at L band Green Bank Telescope (GBT) C band, we investigate these puzzles through Monte Carlo simulations. intrinsic function (E-function) is modeled as dp / mathvariant="italic">dE ? Regularized quadratic cost function for oriented fringe-pattern filtering.

We use the regularization theory in a Bayesian framework to derive a quadratic cost function for denoising fringe patterns. As prior constraints for the regularization problem, we propose a Markov random field model that includes information about the fringe orientation. In our cost function the regularization term imposes constraints to the solution (i.e., the filtered image) to be smooth only...

Clusters of Galaxies: Multifrequency Observations versus Theories

Clusters of galaxies are large gravitationally bound systems which consist of several observable components: hundreds of galaxies, hot gas between the galaxies and sometimes relativistic particles. These components are emitting in different wavelengths from radio to X-rays. We show that the combination of observations at different frequencies and also theoretical models is giving now a comprehe...

Tomography of the Reionization Epoch with Multifrequency Cmb Observations

We study the constraints that future multifrequency cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiments will be able to set on the metal enrichment history of the intergalactic medium at the epoch of reionization. We forecast the signal-to-noise ratio for the detection of the signal introduced into the CMB by resonant scattering off metals at the end of the cosmic dark ages. We take into account syst...

VLA multifrequency observations of RS CVn binaries

We present multiepoch Very Large Array (VLA) observations at 1.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 8.5 GHz and 14.9 GHz for a sample of eight RS CVn binary systems. Circular polarization measurements of these systems are also reported. Most of the fluxes observed are consistent with incoherent emission from mildly relativistic electrons. Several systems show an increase of the degree of circular polarization with ...
